We are delighted to invite you to the presentation of Dach Magazine, where founder Viktoriia Spalek and editor Richard Pettifer will share the challenges and joys of creating an independent publication.

You will learn how the idea of the magazine was born, where the project is heading, what opportunities it opens for contemporary artists, and how emerging authors can make their voices heard in Europe.

During the presentation, we will explore questions such as whether poetry can truly exist in translation and how to translate the visual language of Ukrainian art within the boundaries of English expression.
We will also introduce the writers, poets, artists, and photographers featured in the first issue.

The evening will include live readings of poetry published in the magazine, followed by an open conversation in a relaxed atmosphere over a glass of sparkling wine — a chance to continue the discussion and connect personally.
