Autumn is here, and we’re opening a new season of our Book Club!

“I am a Chekist, but I am also a human being.”

At our first meeting, we discussed Mykola Khvylovy’s I, (Romance).

Who is the “I” in the story? Is any of the characters truly good? Where does faith in an idea end and murder begin? So many questions, and even more answers, none of them unambiguous.
