Dach Magazine is part of Translating Ukraine

Dach Magazine has become part of the Translating Ukraine programme and was invited to a three-week residency in Wojnowice, Poland, from 2 to 23 August 2026

We were given the opportunity to fully focus on translating the second issue of the magazine in the quiet surroundings of a 16th-century castle. The editors of the magazine, Richard Pettifer and Viktoriia Spalek, are working on the translations of works by 13 authors.

During the residency, we also had the chance to meet the other participants, Yuri Tkach and Kseniia Maryniak, as well as the team behind New Eastern Europe and Maciej Piotrowski who have been taking care of us throughout the residency.
